Cheese
Our international and domestic selection of cheese is truly amazing. From mild to sharp, fruity to smokey, sweet to salty, creamy to firm, Bruce’s has a wonderful array for parties, snacks, fondue, sauces and salads. A favourite from France in the cheese department is Port Salut, first made in 1816. Dutch Smoked Gouda and Jalapeno Creamy Havarti are also popular. We carry Tre Stella, Arla and Cortina brands of cheese, as well as Organic Meadow Cheddar and Mozarella. Many customers are happy to find block Asiago, Romano and Parmesan cheese, preferring to grate it themselves.
Arla Blue Cheese makes a wonderful pear salad - just crumble a small block of Blue Cheese, slice 2 or 3 pears, toast 1/2 cup of walnuts and gently toss together with a dressing made with 1/4 cup olive oil or walnut oil, 1/4 cup maple syrup and 1/4 cup lemon juice. Can be garnished with edible flowers to add colour. Sensational!

At Bruce’s, we carry the finest quality deli meat, including Grimms, Lilydale, Fleetwood, Schneider, Freybe and Santa Maria. We have an extensive selection of deli meat which we will custom slice for your needs.
